Protecting client data and critical infrastructure remains a core priority within the X-Info Suite. As cloud hosted platforms continue to evolve, so too do the techniques used to probe and target Internet facing applications.
To strengthen protection at the application layer, the X-Info Portal platform uses advanced web security controls including AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall), which filters and inspects incoming web requests before they reach our application servers. Managed rule sets help block common web threats such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and automated vulnerability scanning.
Recent enhancements to AWS WAF introduced during 2025 and early 2026 also provide improved automated AI traffic analysis, allowing us to identify unusual patterns such as bot driven traffic spikes or abnormal request behaviour. Suspicious activity can then be automatically rate limited or blocked to protect service availability.
Combined with hardened application servers, secure configuration standards, and continuous monitoring by our SOC team, these measures help ensure the X-Info Portal continues to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our client data.
