Mipela GeoSolutions is a location information management company with a passion for connecting people with information since 1997. With around 40 staff, and offices in Brisbane and Melbourne, we have clients in every state of Australia and internationally. Our industry experience is predominantly in energy and infrastructure, with clients operating in gas, water, power, mining, retail, agriculture, construction and consulting services.

How We Began

Mipela GIS began as a professional GIS services company, leading to development of location information management software 15 years ago. Mipela GIS merged with GeoSolutions Australia in 2010 to form Mipela GeoSolutions. Celebrating 15 years of business, we maintain a strong focus on research and development of our products to ensure we remain a leader in innovative location management solutions. In December 2010 Sentanil Systems was founded by Mipela GeoSolutions and John Quigley & Associates to acquire Epic Energy’s pipeline construction management system software modules.

Our Products

Our products include the X-Info Suite of Products and Sentanil Systems. X-Info stands for ‘Exchange of Information’, offering a suite of software designed to capture, connect and share business data. Sentanil represents ‘a person employed to keep watch for some anticipated event’, offering a full range of integrated GIS and database modules for the pipeline industry.

Our Achievements

We are proud to be a 100% Australian owned company and have achieved awards for the Australian Pipeline Industry Association National Safety Award for X-Info DBYD in 2009 and finalist in Australian DEEWR National Work-Life Balance Awards in 2009-2010. We are an active member and supporter of Australian Pipeline Industry Association (APIA), Geospatial Information Technology Association (GITA) and Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI). The company also takes pride in being involved in the community by contributing in a financial capacity to charities (Mater Little Miracles, SU Queensland and Royal Flying Doctors) and sponsoring industry events.
